"We created Well-Koh to provide a safe and inclusive space where clients can focus on becoming the best versions of themselves. With our backgrounds in kinesiology and yoga, along with our combined knowledge of nutrition and pre & postnatal exercise, we identified a gap in the industry. We have experience in supporting a wide range of individuals to reach their goals, including those with chronic conditions or previous injuries. We believe catering to any level of participation is essential, as we understand that everyone is on a different path. We aim to foster a supportive and accessible community, while empowering individuals to overcome barriers and take control of their health and wellness journey. We look forward to supporting all your wellness needs."
- Nicole and Sue
Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction. Eager to expand her knowledge of the mind- body connection, she completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga for Pre- and Postnatal women, and Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Nicole leads a very active lifestyle, which breeds a passion for movement and a commitment to holistic wellness. When supporting her clients and creating programs, Nicole takes into consideration that each individual is a complex combination of mental, physical, and emotional health.
In her free time, Nicole will often be found adventuring the Shuswap with her boyfriend and their dog, or renovating their fixer upper. Nicole is known to be very creative and enjoys woodworking, crocheting, embroidering, and homemaking, always keeping her hands busy.
Sue completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics at UBC with a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Having witnessed first-hand the benefits that exercise can have in one’s life, Sue is continually inspired to help facilitate this change as a kinesiologist.
Prior to working as a kinesiologist, Sue studied and taught yoga. This experience motivated her to begin a university program and further deepen her knowledge to better help individuals who are faced with injury and chronic conditions. In addition to her degree, Sue holds a Culinary Arts diploma and a Nutritional Coaching certificate, further enhancing her ability to support clients in making holistic, healthy lifestyle choices.
Sue is passionate about individualized care, meeting each client at their current state to establish a plan to move forward. Regardless of the barrier or physical struggle, Sue strives to empower each individual to take control of their health and wellness journey.
In Sue’s spare time, she loves to explore the trails with her dog, snowboard, hit the gym, and find a new recipe to master.
